Official Reveal Trailer (November 2025)
The reveal trailer, embedded above, debuted on November 26–27, 2025 and was the world's first look at Phantomery Interactive's full remake. It confirmed the Fall 2026 launch window for PC (Steam) and consoles, and introduced the game's core identity in under a few minutes: a writer, a missing scientist brother, a strange machine, and the Flickering World beyond it.
Watch for the sound design even in the trailer — the remake's audio comes from the dark ambient tradition of Anthesteria (whose work includes the Metro 2033 score), and the 2008 original won a KRI Award specifically for sound. The trailer leans into that heritage: static, half-heard voices, and machinery that hums at the edge of hearing.

- The premise: a writer investigating his scientist brother's mysterious disappearance, left with nothing but a strange machine.
- The Flickering World: the surreal realm reached by repairing the machine — Steam's official term for where memory, sound and dreams intertwine. (Some press coverage calls it the "Shimmering World"; both names describe the same place.)

PS5 Dub Trailer
A separate PlayStation 5 dub trailer features Nicholas Boulton as the voice of The Professor. It is also the source of the conflicting Q1 2027 PS5 mention — at odds with the Fall 2026 window in the main reveal.
