Confirmed Release Window: Fall 2026
Phantomery Interactive and publisher Brickworks Games have announced that Sublustrum will launch in Fall 2026 for PC via Steam and consoles. The announcement came alongside the official reveal trailer in late November 2025 and was repeated across the wave of media coverage on December 1, 2025.
Fall 2026 is a launch window, not a specific day. No exact date — no month, no day — has been confirmed. As with most window announcements, expect the precise date to be locked in closer to launch, likely through the game's Steam page and the publisher's channels.
The Conflicting PS5 Claim: Q1 2027
There is one wrinkle. A PlayStation 5 dub trailer — featuring Nicholas Boulton as the voice of The Professor — mentions Q1 2027 for PS5. That conflicts with the Fall 2026 window announced for the game overall.
What this likely means is one of three things: the PS5 version arrives later than the PC release, the trailer text is outdated, or the window shifted for consoles specifically. Neither the developer nor the publisher has clarified the discrepancy yet. Treat Q1 2027 as an unconfirmed claim attached to one trailer, and Fall 2026 as the official line until Brickworks Games says otherwise. We will update this page the moment either side confirms.
